My name is Murielle. For over a year now, I’ve been helping people from all over the world overcome the barrier of the French language, not just to speak it, but to feel comfortable using it, both in their professional lives and in their daily lives in Haute-Savoie.
I firmly believe that learning French doesn’t happen sitting at a desk. It happens while running errands, cooking, sharing a cup of coffee with neighbors, or taking a walk by the lake. It is this philosophy that I have placed at the heart of my method
In addition to running my French as a Foreign Language (FLE) school in Annecy, I work at the architecture firm Atelier Giguet, where I have developed a solid understanding of the local area and its residents

Do I need to already speak some French ?
Not at all. I welcome complete beginners (A1) all the way to advanced learners (C1–C2). We start with a quick positioning test to tailor pace and content to your profile and goals
Do you teach in person or online ?
Both. In-person lessons take place in Annecy at my place, your home, or at the activity location (market, kitchen, outdoors, administrative offices). Online lessons are perfect to start before you arrive in France or as a complement.
How long until I can hold a real conversation ?
Plan around 3 to 6 months to reach everyday conversational level (A2–B1) with 2 to 3 sessions per week. Full immersion accelerates progress significantly.
